  • WOLVERINE MAX is ZooRacing’s latest high performance touring car body, whose design has been developed according to the latest findings, with the aim to make WOLVERINE MAX even faster than its predecessors on any track. Many new features ensure that the handling has become even more dynamic, with more downforce for more stability in the corners with significantly more rotation. At the same time, aerodynamic efficiency has been improved once again.

    To this end, many areas of WOLVERINE MAX have been noticeably enhanced. The overall length has been significantly shortened in favor of lower inertia and thus improved rotation around the vertical axis. To achieve even more steering in fast corners, the front and hood have been made even steeper. To better direct the lateral airflow along the rear wheel arches to the rear wing and thus create even more downforce, WOLVERINE MAX has been heavily waisted on the side. The rear end is designed to be very flat and homogeneous, ensuring a very low center of gravity on the one hand and a very even airflow to the rear wing on the other. The shape of the rear fenders has been reshaped for more uniform airflow. This has minimized turbulence at the end of the body.

    The roof of WOLVERINE MAX has been stretched more to improve overall aerodynamic efficiency. For the first time, the side windows have a camber to achieve more even pressure ratios as air flows past. For the rear wing, we used the well-known HELLCAT wing and improved it even more. The wing is known for its curved and arched design, perfectly adapted to the rear of the body, and the extreme effect that comes with it. For greater structural stability and more downforce on fast tracks, we have now added an extremely effective reinforcing rib to the rear wing.

    Especially for the 0.5mm LIGHTWEIGHT version, high stiffness is important. To achieve this, many new features have been developed. The area in front of the front window has been redesigned to provide more strength here. The front fenders now have a unique structure so that flexing at high speeds is reduced and more efficiency is achieved overall.

    At the top of the Wolverine MAX highlights is the new ZOOlite thermoforming process, which lowers the overall weight of the 0.7mm thick body by approximately 10g.

    This ensures that the body fits all regulations that currently require a minimum body weight – without giving away a single gram.

    Of course, the body is still available in the super-light 0.5mm material. If you want to get the maximum performance out of your car and are not subject to a minimum weight, this is the way to go.

    The body is available in two versions:

    REGULAR: 0.7mm thick – approx. 75g weight without paint and decals, inc. Wing

    LIGHTWEIGHT: 0.5mm thick – approx. 55g weight without paint and stickers, incl. wings

    AIRLITE: 0.4mm thick – approx. 45g weight without paint and sticker, incl. wings

    A special feature of the ZooRacing bodies are the two-stage windshield decals. With stage 1, the first step is to mask off the entire windshield and paint the body completely. After that, stage 1 is removed and the smaller stage 2 is placed in the windshield. This way you can paint a perfect window frame! Please note that you should put a white background on light-colored paints beforehand – if you want to paint a dark window frame.

    ANTI is ZooRacing´s new high-performance touring car body. Developed from the experience with the super successful Wolverine body, but with more overall downforce and a more stable rear in mind.

    Key areas, like a super low nose, a more steep bonnet and arch-designed side windows were carefully optimized. The main body has a more wedge design to improve the airflow to the rear and creates a lot more downforce.

    For a more fluent handling, the ANTI has a little more stretched cabin. The more homogeneous airflow behind the roof reduces drag and turbulences. New inverted fin design on the  trunk reduces turbulences and increases static stability at the rear section and results a better approach flow to the new designed rear wing.

    The rear wing design is curved according the body lines and has a step/fin design to improve stability. The result is less flex and more downforce on high speeds.

    The handling with the ANTI body is less agressive, than the Wolverine and allows a lot more overall stability. Especially at corner exits it´s less critcal to drive and gives more trust and confidence when accelerating. Perfect for modified racing, where downforce is needed and stock racing for all, who are looking for a less agressive body, than the Wolverine.

  • ZooRacing 3-piece 190mm Touring Car Wing Set

    ZooRacing have announced the release of their new 3-piece wing set that includes three different design wings to fine-tune the aerodynamics of most of today’s 1/10th scale 190mm touring car bodies. Included are the wing of the ultra-popular DBX/PreoPard/ZooZilla series, the highly-curved HellCat rear wing as well as the new BayBee rear wing, all moulded from high-quality polycarbonate.

Using the set comes in handy especially when running ZooRacing’s ultra lightweight 0.5mm bodies that greatly profit from the tougher and less flexible rear wings as they improve overall downforce without adding too much weight.     The wing set is usable with all 190mm touring cars that use a 100mm wing post spacing – being it originals or rip-offs.

  • The BAYBEE body shell for 190mm touring cars is ZooRacing’s latest high performance touring car lid. It is basically an evolution of the ultra-popular DBX with a comparable roof line and design, however the slightly stretched roof reduces aerodynamic drag, resulting in higher corning speeds, something especially stock class racers will be looking for. New for the BAYBEE is also a longer and rounder front end shape for increased corner speeds under power, allowing for precise handling especially in larger corners while reducing tyre scrub at the same time which further helps to maintain high speeds and smooth cornering. All this comes without sacrificing low-speed steering with the BAYBEE offering razor-sharp steering response in technical parts of the track. Compared to the already low-profile appearance of the DBX, the BAYBEE features a once more lowered shoulder line, hood and trunk section allowing to substantially to mount the body lower on the chassis, resulting in a once more lowered overall centre of gravity.

    Part of the package is also a redesigned High Efficient rear wing that is of a curved design, following the new rear end shape which results in an even more efficient air flow between body shell and wing. Other aerodynamic features include redesigned side skirts for optimised airflow and further improved stability while reinforcement ribbings on the trunk ensure best possible rigidity even under heavy loads as they occur in today’s modified class racing. Last but not least comes the realistic front end design that not only makes for a cool new look but the sculptured hood design is also meant to improve airflow and overall stability and durability of the body shell.

    On top of that all is the new ZOOlite moulding process that reduces the overall weight of our standard thickness 0.7mm body shells by about 10g. This ensures the standard shells are legal for all races with minimum body weight rules, such as the ETS, while significantly lowering the overall centre of gravity. In addition the BAYBEE is also available in our proven, lightweight 0.5mm variant for everyone looking for the utmost of performance.

    Part of the package are also the revolutionary 2-step window masks that will ensure window frames of Pro quality. In a first step all windows are masked using the Step 1 masks. After the painting of the body is completed, the masks will be removed and replaced by the slightly smaller Step 2 masks that leave the window frames exposed and ready to be painted in your favourite colour. The result is highly precise without the need to pre-cut or in-body-cut the window masks, ensuring greater satisfaction and less chances of creating predetermined breaking points. The body package is rounded out by high-quality wing mounting hardware and a detailed sticker sheet including grille, head and tail lights.

  • The DogsBollox body shell for 190mm touring cars is ZooRacing’s third touring car body shell. Developed as an outright low centre of gravity body the lid features a 6mm lower trunk section – including the rear wing – for greater corning speeds, a more agile handling and less weight distribution changes. In addition to the low rear end the body also offers a super low front end which further adds to the aggressive LCG aero package. When run on high to very high-grip surfaces drivers will experience a lot less traction rolling issues even when using the body in the new 90g ETS weight rule configuration.
